Absence Makes the Heart…

I received your no letter just after mine with the naughty postscript was snatched from my hands to the post – before I had time to reconsider it, or it would probably have been withheld.

Such are the evils of absence.

I am always thinking after I have written that I have not written what I wished – and then it is irremediable…
