I have just had an account of a comical rencontre between your Aunt and my Uncle – Miss Byron & Lord Wentworth – at Lord Scarsdale’s; both oppressed with their incommunicable secret till they were happily relieved from the burden by a letter of mine, removing that obligation.
I presume that in the joy of disclosure they “swore eternal friendship.”
I may as well pause here.
I shall not be more willing at the end of the sheet.
There is much to say of you and I – the most interesting persons in the world – at least to each other.
My mother is better – still very weak.
